Szegedi 178 Hot Paprika
Fresh pepper heat and sweetness, the classic Hungarian hot paprika.

Where does Szegedi 178 Hot Paprika come from?
Our Szegedi 178 Hot Paprika is grown on a small regenerative farm in the oldest paprika-growing region of Hungary by our partner farmer, Péter. Szegedi 178 is an heirloom variety of hot pepper that has a beautiful aroma and a long, warm burn. The peppers are picked ripe, air-cured in mesh bags, dehydrated, ground and blended with sweet paprika in small batches.

Noble Sweet Paprika
Bursting with fresh pepper flavor, a classic Hungarian sweet paprika.
Ingredients: Sweet paprika peppers (Capiscum annuum), dried and ground
Tasting notes: Red Peppers • Green Tomato • Turned Earth
Where do Noble Sweet Paprika come from?
Our rich, vibrant Noble Sweet Paprika is grown on a small regenerative farm in the oldest paprika-growing region of Hungary. Our partner farmer, Péter, grows two heirloom varieties of peppers: Szegedi 80, known for its deep red color and sweetness, and mihályteleki, known for its rich fragrance. The peppers are picked when perfectly ripe, then hung in mesh bags to cure in the breeze. This curing process, called sukju (or "salami bag" by the locals), brings the sugars to the surface. After curing, the peppers are dehydrated and ground in small batches.
