Braised eggs with leek and za’atar

Start the day by treating your loved one to a frothy coffee and this delicious brunch. And if you want to be extra organised, the leeks and spinach can be made up to a day ahead and kept in the fridge, ready for the eggs to be cracked in and braised.

Use our Wild Za’atar to make this recipe pop - it’s a precise and meticulously blended mix of wild thyme, oregano, sesame seeds, sumac, sea salt and olive oil.

Our Za’atar is sourced from a women’s cooperative in Palestine. The ingredients are dried in the sun, before being crushed through a sieve and rubbed, breaking it into a fine texture. This works to create the perfect blend. In Palestine, za'atar is most commonly eaten with breakfast. The taste arouses pine, sesame and herby flavours in the palate. It’s a fragrant complex taste of excellence.

A Valentine’s Day Menu for two

For starters: Lemon and sage roasted almonds

What better way to start your meal than with a bowl of delicious roasted almonds. Seasoning with our exquisite sumac and black urfa chili flakes will transform this dish.

Our cured Sumac is preserved in salt to retain its texture and enhance its flavours. With a fine, crumbly texture, and salty-sweet tart flavour, if you’ve used dried Sumac before this will blow you away.
